Both taps fully open
A half-closed hot tap makes a washer look thoroughly broken on every cycle it runs.
Pump filter
Bottom-front hatch, behind the little door. Coins and hairpins cause most of the no-drain calls we take.
Load balance
One heavy towel on its own will stop a spin dead. Redistribute the drum and run it again.
Drain hose height
A hose pushed too far down the standpipe siphons the tub and the machine never fills properly.

My washer stopped with water still in the drum.
Check the pump filter first, it is behind the small hatch at the bottom front, and coins or hairpins account for most no-drain calls. Have a towel ready, it will empty.
What does OE / UE / LE mean on an LG?
OE is a drain fault, UE is an unbalanced load, LE is a locked motor. Read the code out on the phone and we will tell you which of those it is before we come.
How much does washing machine repair cost?

The machine walks across the laundry room. Is that serious?
It is worth fixing sooner rather than later. Worn shock absorbers or suspension rods let the drum move, and that movement is what eventually destroys the tub bearing.
